What the inspector wrote

On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Isabel Ortega conducted a Case Management -Deficiencies inspection to follow up in regards to 2 citiations issued. Disaster drills- Plan of Correction (POC) citation 102417(g)(9)(A)1 Title 22 (A) Each family child care home shall conduct fire drills and disaster drills at least once every six months. 1. The licensee shall document the drills, including the date and time of each drill. This documentation shall kept at the family child care home. Every family day care home for children shall have one or more carbon monoxide detectors in the facility that meet the standards established in Chapter 8 (commencing with Section 13260) of Part 2 Division 12. The department shall account for the presence of these detectors during inspections. These citation were given on 2/28/2024 and cleared 3/27/24. During this inspection LPA observed one school age child in care and two adults providing care and supervision. LPA observed proof of emergency drill conducted on 2/29/2024 at 10:30 a.m. LPA observed two carbon monoxide detectors working properly. LPA cleared two Type B deficiencies dated 2/28/2024 during an annual inspection. A notice of site visit, appeal rights and copy of this report were provided today to Licensee. The notice of site visit shall be posted for 30 days. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a $100.00 civil penalty. Licensee was informed about a voluntary Technical Support Program(TSP) offered by Child Care Licensing Program. Exit interview conducted with Licensee Martha Ledezma.
