On 8/31/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Carol Heath conducted an unannounced visit at the Velasco Family Child Care and met with the Licensee Bertha Velasco. The purpose of the inspection was to deliver the findings for the above complaint allegations. During the course of investigating this complaint, LPA Heath conducted interviews with Licensee and other related parties. The interviews revealed inconsistencies in the allegations reported. Per Licensee the allegations did not happen and she did not call or talk to any parents regarding this complaint. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the facility did not provide a healthy food, milk or water for children, and children's needs are not being met; therefore, the above allegations are unsubstantiated. No deficiencies were cited. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report and LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit were left with Licensee Bertha Velasco.
