What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tatiana Bickham conducted an unannounced annual required inspection at the above facility on 10/16/2025 at 12:45 PM. Upon arrival, LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and met with Maria Martinez Licensee, who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. Entrance Checklist \342\200\223 Family Child Care Homes LIC 126 was provided to the Licensee\342\200\231s to help facilitate the inspection. Also present was Licensee\342\200\231s assistant/daughter. There were (7) 7 day-care children (3 infants) present during today\342\200\231s inspection. Per Licensee, there are currently (twelve) 12 children enrolled. Facility capacity is in compliance for a large Family Child Care Home. Hours of operation are Mon-Sat 7:00 AM - 7:00PM. LPA toured the home inside and outside. This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, family room, living room, front yard and backyard (fenced). There is a detached garage converted into a living space for renters. Per Licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: All bedrooms and bathroom located at the front of the home, kitchen, front yard, and detached garage located in the backyard. Per Licensee, areas that are accessible to children include: Living room, family room, bathroom #2, and backyard. The bathroom that children use is located off of the dining room and was observed to be clean and free of hazards. Food is provided by Licensee. Licensee was reminded if children bring food from home, it must be labeled with the child\342\200\231s name and properly stored or refrigerated. Page 1.
