Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Per Principal, at no time has the facility operated out of ratio. The facility has more staff than children enrolled and both teachers and aides always have coverage for breaks and lunches. Principal disclose that breaks and lunches are monitored to ensure that all teachers and aides needed to meet the overall ratio are immediately available at the center. During staff interviews, no disclosures were made to support the allegation above. Staff #4 disclosed that teachers support one another with breaks, and aides support one another with breaks. Staff #4 also stated that they have not observed the facility operating out of ratio. In cases of emergency, teachers, aides and principal are always available. During parent interviews, no disclosures were made to support the allegation above. Parents are happy with the services they have received at the center. Parent # 3 stated that they are often referring other parents to enroll their child at the center because of all the great experiences Parent #3 has had at the center. LPA conducted an initial visit to the facility on 08/06/2024 and observed the facility within ratio. On 08/15/2024, during a subsequent visit, LPA observed the facility to be within ratio. During today\342\200\231s visit, LPA observed the facility to be operating within ratio. Based on the investigation conducted by the LPA, it has been determined that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
