What the inspector wrote

On 4/8/25 at 1:05PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeanine Lipsey conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) Visit. Upon arrival, LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and met with\302\240Licensee Cesar & Jennifer Parra, who guided the LPA on a tour of the facility. There were 6 children present during today\342\200\231s inspection, of which 1 was an infant. During the Required - 3 Year inspection conducted on 2/26/2025, the following deficiencies were issued. The following items need to be corrected by plan of correction date of 3/29/25. Inspection Tool Notes: Physical Plant - Technical Violation: 102417(g) - work out area has storage cabinet with paint supplies and work out equipment, licensee will put up gate to prevent children from the area. Physical Plant - Type B: 102417(g)(1) - fire extinguisher last serviced 12/08/2020. Physical Plant - Type B: 102417(g)(4) - cleaning products in the kitchen cabinets without safety lock Physical Plant - Type B: 102417(g)(9)(A) - no fire drills being conducted since last year. Physical Plant - Technical Violation: 102425(b) - a blanket was in the play yard with sleeping infant Facility Administration - Type B: 1596.8662(b)(1) - Jennifer and Cesar do not have documentation of mandated reporter training. Facility Administration - Type B: 1597.622(c) - Jennifer and Cesar do not have proof of measals and T-dap. Facility Administration - No Deficiency: 102416(c) - Jennifer and Cesar are missing CPR training, Cesar use to be a life guard and swim instructor. Records - Type B: 102418(a) - infant child does not have record of immunizations. Records - Technical Violation: 102417(g)(7) - infant child missing LIC 700 Records - Technical Violation: 102419(d)(1) - Infant child missing lic 995A Records - Technical Violation: 102425(c) - infant child missing lic 9227 Records - Type B: 102425(j)(2)(D)(c) - infant child 15 check is not being documented. Personal Rights - Technical Violation: 102423(a)(2) - electrical plug covers missing in the living room, childcare room and bathroom. The deficiencies noted above have all been cleared and no further action is needed. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee Cesar & Jennifer Parra. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
