What the inspector wrote

On 8/26/25, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Veronica Wheatley conducted an unannounced inspection and met with Director Rita Brenas. LPA toured the premises and observed 11 children in Butterfly classroom with three staff and 4 children in the Toddler classroom with two staff. The purpose of the inspection is to finalize a complaint regarding the above allegation. On 6/5/25, LPA V. Wheatley conducted an unannounced inspection. LPA was greeted by the Lead Teacher Lilia Velquez. The director Rita Brenas arrived during the inspection. LPA toured the three classrooms and observed 21 children napping on the premises. LPA interviewed staff and received a copy of the children's roster. LPA interviewed parents and watched a video received by the reporting party. Based on the LPA's inspection, information obtained and interviews which were conducted, the allegation is Unsubstantiated. An Unsubstantiated finally means that although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred. Exit interview was conducted. A copy of this report was read and provided to the director. The Notice of Site Visit will be posted for 30 days.
