    Buildings and Grounds. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that could pose a danger if readily available to children shall be stored where inaccessible to children. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: On 10/12/2022, LPA observed Clorox bleach bottles easily accessible to day care children which were stored under the kitchen sink cabinet. This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.

    An aide who is 18 years of age or older, and who meets the requirements of this section and Section 101216, may escort and/or assist children in going to the bathroom, and may supervise napping children as specified in Section 101230(c)(1), without being under the direct supervision of a teacher. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Interviews with staff revealed that Staff #1 was hired as a Pre-K teacher however is sometimes left alone with children when Staff #2 must step out of the classroom to use the restroom. This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.
