Follow-up on corrections·July 16, 2025

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tatiana Bickham conducted an unannounced Case Management Visit to this facility. While conducting an alternate visit at Wickramasuriya Family Child Care on 6/10/25, the following deficiency was observed. While conducting an alternative visit on 6/10/25 Licensee and Staff 1 (S1) disclosed that the time-out area for children in care was in the restroom. Per Licensee, a chair is placed in the door of the restroom and children sit for there for 2 minutes then are allowed to get up. Per Licensee and S1 the door to the restroom is never closed while children are there for time-out. Licensee placed a chair in the restroom for LPA to view, photo was taken. LPA informed Licensee they can not place children in the restroom or the door of the restroom for time-out. Children shall not be physically separate from the other children while on time out. Licensee stated she understands. The following deficiency listed on the attached deficiency page is being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. The Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. An exit interview was conducted with the Licensee and Appeals Rights provided.
