Pg 2 Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove the allegation, therefore the above allegation is deemed Unsubstantiated. No deficiencies were cited during this inspection. An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was provided to licensee, Yvonne Cottage along with Notice of Site Visit and Appeal Rights.

    102417 Operation of a Family Child Care Home(a) The licensee shall be present in the home and shall ensure that children in care are supervised at all times. When circumstances require the licensee to be temporarily absent from the home, the licensee shall arrange for a substitute adult to care for and supervise the children during his/her absence. Temporary absences shall not exceed 20 percent of the hours that the facility is providing care per day.This requirement was not met as evidence by: Based on record review and confidential interview, the facility did not comply with the section cited above by failing to report the licensee’s absence from the facility which posed a potential Health, Safety or Personal Rights risk to persons in care.
