What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst's (LPA's) Maddox and Garcia met with Julie Keller, Director today for the purpose of conducting a case management inspection. This center was forced to relocate to an alternate location on the campus of College of the Canyons due to wild fires from 2019. This center has since been renovated and center is returning back to their original location. During this inspection, LPA's toured the office, kitchen, bathrooms, patio, and out play yard. Measurements were as follows: LPA separated the 1 large classroom in 3 sections INDOOR Section A: 23.5 X 11.75 = 276 B: 19.5 X 9.42 = 184 C: 23.5 X 21.58 = 507 TOTAL INDOOR SPACE: 967/35 = 28 OUTSIDE Patio: 42.08 X 12 = 505/75=7 Play Yard: 66 X 37 = 2442/75= 33 TOTAL OUTDOOR PLAY SPACE: 40 BATHROOM There is 1 bathroom designated for children, the bathroom has 2 toilets and 2 sinks for a total capacity of 30 LPA'S observed operable carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors, fully charged fire extinguishers, first aid kits, age appropriate toys, play equipment, and furnishings. Children will bring their own water bottles with additional bottled water for refills. Center is participating with the Child and Adult Food Program (CAAFP) for lunches and snacks. Fire clearance has been received and granted. Exit interview conducted, a copy of this report left at facility.
