Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

LPA observed sleeping equipment use for day care children which includes cribs, folded couch mats and portable bassinets. LPA informed Licensee that portable bassinets were not allowed in the day care for sleeping. Therefore, the allegation that staff allows infant to fall asleep before placed in a crib or play yard and the provider is not moving the infants to a crib or pack n' play as soon as possible and staff is using bouncers for children to nap in are deemed substantiated. A Substantiated finding means that the allegation is valid because the preponderance of the evidence standard has been met. Deficiency is cited in accordance with Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations and/or Health & Safety Codes. An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report, appeals rights and a notice of site visit were discussed and provided to Licensee.
