What the inspector wrote

According to Parents interviewed during the course of the investigation, they have no concerns regarding their children's safety while at the Family Child Care (FCC). Parents stated that their children like the FCC and stated that their children talk to them about various activities while at the center that include mobile activities and outdoor play. Parents stated that they have no concerns. According to Staff interviewed during the course of the investigation, staff stated that children are able to move freely and are never forced to sit on a chair. Staff further stated that they do mobile activities suck as outdoor play, carpet time, table time when they are required to sit on a chair and naps. -Pertaining to the allegation that - Licensee yells at day care children. According to the Reporting Party (RP), the Licensee yells and screams at children. According to Parents interviewed during the course of the investigation, they have no concerns regarding their children's safety while at the Family Child Care (FCC). Parents stated that their children have never made mention of anyone yelling or screaming at them. According to Staff interviewed during the course of the investigation, children in care are safe and never yelled at or screamed at. Staff further stated that when children are not behaving they are spoken to, provided with options to different activities and are redirected; however, the children are well behaved most of the time. LPA Ornelas observed children to be happy, not afraid of the providers and able to move freely. Based on the evidence as documented above, the allegations have been determined to be Unsubstantiated. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the allegation occurred. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Galit Chamir..
