On 10/12/2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Suzette Ornelas conducted a continuation visit for the purpose of completing the required annual inspection. LPA met with Director, Karen Levy and toured the facility indoors and outdoors. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7a to 6p. Facility is equipped with a security camera system and security entry system. LPA observed 46 children and 9 adults. All children are under supervision, including visual supervision, of a teacher at all times. Capacity and limitations as specified on the license are being maintained. LPA observed 5 licensed preschool classrooms on the premises. RM 1: Dolphin (2 year olds), RM 2 Orca (3year olds), RM 3 Polar Bear (5 year olds), RM 4 Otter (older 3\342\200\231s-4 year olds), RM 5 Seal (4 year olds) All areas identified on the Facility Sketch were inspected. The following staff were present during this inspection: RM 1: 5 preschool children with a ratio of 1 teacher RM 2 : 12 preschool children with a ratio of 2 teachers RM 3 : 6 preschool children with a ratio of 1 teachers RM 4 : 11 preschool children with a ratio of 2 teachers RM 5 : 12 preschool children with a ratio of 1 teacher LPA reviewed a sample of children\342\200\231s files and observed files were complete. Prior to working or volunteering in a licensed child care facility, all individuals subject to a criminal record review have received a criminal record clearance or exemption. LPA reviewed a sample of staff files and observed files were complete. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days.
