What the inspector wrote

On June 05, 2024, at 2:35 p.m. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ortega met with the Center Director, LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection to deliver findings and was granted entry. Upon arrival, LPA did not observe any children in care. Early dismissal schedule due to preparation for the Preschool Graduation. During the course of this investigation, Licensing Program Analyst Isabel Ortega conducted confidential interviews and reviewed documentation. During the interviews with Staff, children and Parents no disclosures were made regrading concerns with the quality of care, and children did not show signs of concern. Interviews did not disclose children are being handled in a rough manner, staff inappropriately speaking to children and staff are not withholding food as a form of punishment. This agency has investigated the complaint. It has been determined that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore at this time the above allegation is Unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report, and notice of site visit and appeal rights were provided to the facility center Director, Diane Ferguson. Notice of site visit shall be posted for 30 days and the report shall be made available to the public for 3 years.
