What the inspector wrote

During today\342\200\231s inspection, LPA and LPM observed staff wearing facial coverings. Based on observations, interviews conducted, and record review, the allegation of staff not wearing facial coverings is rendered unsubstantiated. There is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the above allegation. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the allegations occurred. An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report, and notice of site visit was provided to the licensee along with appeal rights.

  • PERSONAL RIGHTS

    Personal Rights: The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: to be accorded safe, healthful, and comfortable accommodations, furnishings, and equipment to meet his/her needs. This requirement was not met as evidence by on 10/20/21, LPAs observed that 18 children were not wearing facial coverings while indoors. During interviews conducted children disclosed they do not wear facial coverings. This is a type B deficiency which poses a potential Health, Safety or Personal Rights risk to children in care.

  • SIGN IN AND SIGN OUT

    Sign In and Sign Out: In addition to the sign-in procedure requirement of Section 101226.1(b), the licensee shall develop, maintain, and implement a written procedure to sign the child in/out of the child care center that shall, at a minimum, include the following: This requirement was not met as evidence by parents are not consistently signing in and signing out their children. This is a type B deficiency which poses a potential Health, Safety or Personal Rights risk to children in care.
