Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 12/03/2021, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sabrina Martinez conducted an unannounced site visit at Beachmoms Child Development Center for the purpose of delivering the investigation finding for the above-mentioned allegation. Upon arrival, LPA Martinez met with Lead Teacher Melanie Kirkpatrick and informed staff of the purpose of the visit. LPA Martinez followed COVID-19 Safety Guidelines during this investigation, LPA wore a face covering, sanitized hands, and maintained social distance whenever possible. On 09/21/2021, LPA conducted an interview with Licensee and the child involved. LPA also obtained a copy of the following documents: Child Care Facility Roster, Sign in and Sign Out Sheet for the month of September 2021 and incident report dated 09/10/2021. LPA also conducted interviews with day care parents, day care children, and facility staff. Based on the information obtained throughout the course of the investigation, although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the above alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is found to be unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report, Notice of Site Visit, and appeal rights were provided to Lead Teacher.
