What the inspector wrote

On 05/14/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lisa Clayton arrived at the Bright Horizons at Ocean Park Preschool unannounced, to conduct a Case Management \342\200\223 Incident inspection to follow up on an Unusual Incident received in the Department on 05/09/2025 via telephone. LPA Clayton was greeted by Director Nara Keheyan. In attendance were 78 children being supervised and cared for by 12 fingerprint cleared staff. INCIDENT DETAIL: On May 8, 2025, the child\342\200\231s mom the called center left message for director and director returned call. Mom stated that child advised her that teacher S1 slapped him in the face. Teacher was placed on administrative leave effective 5/08/25. School is conducting an internal investigation. Mom mentioned that she is not sure if that happened. No marks on child. C1 attended school on May 8, 2025. C1 has been in attendance every day since Mom reported to Director Nara. During today's visit LPA Clayton interviewed C1, fellow students, Director Nara and teaching staff. Based on LPA Clayton observations and interviews with students and staff, a personal rights violation did not occur. The incident was reported to the Department in the time frame required by Title 22 Regulations therefore no Deficiencies are cited today. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director Nara Keheyan. LPA Clayton posted Notice of Site visit which to the remain posted for 30 days.
