What the inspector wrote

On 04/08/2025 Licensing Program Analyst LPA Ranita Richmond and Chartrice Johnson arrived at the home to conduct a Plan of Correction visit and was met by Licensee Liliana. LPA observed 6 children in care being supervised and cared for by licensee and 1 fingerprint cleared assistant. On 02/04/2025, Licensee was cited for the following items that were not cleared on follow up visit on 3/20/25: 1. Licensee will ensure that open face heaters shall be screened to prevent access by children. 2. Licensee will ensure that all detergents, cleaning compounds, etc. are inaccessible to children in care. 3. Licensee will ensure that all cribs are free from all loose articles and objects. 4. Licensee will ensure all cribs are free from hanging on or attached items to the sides of cribs at all times. During today's visit LPA Richmond and Johnson observed the following: 1. LPA observed that open face heater not to be screened to prevent access by children. Heater is covered by artificial grass. LPA advised licensee to cover open faced heater with heat resistant tiles or screen. LPA advised can be purchased on amazon, home depot, and ikea. Not cleared during today's visit. 2. LPA observed laundry area free of detergents and cleaning compounds, bathroom free of disinfectant wipes and sprays, beauty supplies, etc. on shelves, medicine cabinet has locks installed, and inside tub/shower areas are free of health and hygiene items. Citation cleared during today's visit. 3. LPA observed that all cribs are free from loose articles and objects. Cribs only have mattress and fitted sheets. Citation cleared during today's visit. 4. LPA observed cribs are free from hanging on or attached items to the sides of cribs. No items hanging from or attached to the sides of the cribs. Citation cleared during today's visit. 3 of 4 Citations issued on 2/04/2025 and repeated on 03/20/25 has been cleared. An exit interview was conducted. A copy of this report, notice of site visit, deficiencies clearance letters were discussed and provided to Licensee.
