What the inspector wrote

On 06/18/2025 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Ranita Richmond and Chartrice Johnson arrived at the home to conduct a Plan of Correction visit and was met by Licensee Liliana Ponce. LPAs observed 7 children in care being supervised and cared for by licensee and 1 fingerprint cleared assistant. On 02/04/2025, Licensee was cited for the following: 1. Licensee will ensure that open face heaters shall be screened to prevent access by children. 2. Licensee will ensure that all detergents, cleaning compounds, etc. are inaccessible to children in care. 3. Licensee will ensure that all cribs are free from all loose articles and objects. 4. Licensee will ensure all cribs are free from hanging on or attached items to the sides of cribs at all times. follow up visits to clear citations are as follows : 3/20/25, 04/08/2025 During today’s visit licensing staff observed the following: 1. Heater covered in high temperature wall paper. Per Licensing Program Manager (LPM) K. Starks, licensee will contact gas company to come out to tag heater as non operational. Not cleared during today's visit. 2. All detergents, cleaning compounds, etc. are inaccessible to children in care by being housed in locked cabinets and off limits areas. Cleared during today's visit. 3. No loose articles and objects observed inside the crib. Cleared during today's visit. 4.Two blankets hanging over the side of a crib with an infant inside and awake. Licensee removed blankets during visit. Repeat violation cited, cleared during today's visit. 3 of 4 Citations issued on 2/04/2025 has been cleared. An exit interview was conducted. A copy of this report, notice of site visit, deficiencies clearance letters were discussed and provided to Licensee.
