What Happened
The required annual inspection found the home clean and orderly with operable fire safety equipment and current facility records, but the mandated reporter certificate had expired. LPA also reviewed safe sleep expectations and reminded the licensee about maintaining emergency preparedness documents.
Observations
- Fire extinguishers, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector were operable.
- Mandated reporter training certificate was expired.
- The facility had not had children in care since January 2022.
- Current facility roster and fire/disaster drill documentation were observed.
