Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

During the interview with the Director, the Director denied having knowledge about staff inappropriately grabbing an item away from a daycare child, staff mishandled a daycare child while in care, daycare child sustained unexplained injuries while in care, staff did not prevent a daycare child from being bitten while in care. The Director shared the surveillance video with LPA and explained that they never observed any incidents involving C1 which could have left any marks on them. C1 has not been observed crying, yelling, or screaming because of someone biting. There were no existing incidents to report on. During interviews conducted, staff made no disclosures regarding the allegations. Parents interviewed did not present concerns related to the above-mentioned allegations and were pleased with the services and care being provided to their children. Based on the investigation conducted, there is insufficient evidence to support the above-mentioned allegations to be true. Therefore, although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are Unsubstantiated.
