On 02/28/2024, at 12:00 PM ,Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Shushanik Safaryan conducted unannounced Case Management visit due to the licensee request to update off limit areas and request to use detached garage for children\342\200\231s activities .LPA met with licensee , Karina Torres who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. Per licensee 12 children enrolled . Fire clearance for detached garage received on 01/24/2024. This is the one story house which consists of 3 bedrooms , 3 bathrooms , living room , dinning room ,kitchen , detached garage . Children will have access to bedroom #3 and bathroom #3 located in the bedroom #3 , detached garage , backyard , front area . Off limit areas will be living room , dining room , kitchen , bedroom #1, #2 , bathroom #1, # 2 . LPA start touring from the main gate entrance which leads to the picnic area , where LPA observed 11 children with 3 staff members having lunch . Then LPA toured detached garage and observed toys , tables , chairs and some art supplies . LPA reminded licensee that children are not allowed to nap or eat in the garage . Per license children nap inside in the bedroom # 3 which is used as a part of the day care and eat either outside on the side yard or inside in bedroom #3 in case of the rain . After LPA toured bedroom#3 and bathroom # 3 . All areas used by children were inspected for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, ventilation, and heating . Declaration obtained during the visit . No deficiencies were observed or cited in accordance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations on this date. The Notice of Site visit was issued , Appeal Rights explained and printed . The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) \342\200\223 must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative.
