What the inspector wrote

On 8/18/25 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ranita Richmond and Doris Whitmore conducted an unannounced case management annual continuation inspection at Beller Family ChildCare. The purpose of the case management visit is to provide deficiencies pages to the report written on 7/23/25. Upon arrival, LPA met with licensee Albanai Beller and discussed the purpose of the visit. LPA toured the facility. LPA observed 8 children in care being supervised by two staff. One staff member has fingerprints that are not associated with the FCC. Civil Penalty assessed. See LIC 421BG. During the walkthrough LPA observed a child asleep on a mat in the converted garage. LPA advised licensee that children are to nap inside the home. Children are not to nap, toilet, or eat in the converted garage. The converted garage is to be utilized for additional activity space only. LPA advised licensee that per previous visit that it was disclosed that children are to sleep inside the home. The licensee agrees. Type B citation cited. See LIC 809D. One Type B citation cited, per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report along with appeal rights, and the Notice of Site Visit were provided to Licensee Albanai Beller.
