On 5/22/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Loyce Phillips arrived at above-mentioned facility for the purpose of conducting an unannounced Case Management-other visit. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director Aracele Gonzalez and toured the facility. LPA observed 25 preschool children in care with 4 staff members. LPA arrived to the facility to ensure the flickering lights were not in use in the bungalow classroom. LPA observed the flickering lights to be off and the classroom is currently utilizing 8 rechargeable tripod LED work lights. LPA suggested the window shades shall remain open for additional lighting. Director stated the facility is still working on the issue with the flickering lights and will keep LPA updated. No deficiency cited in accordance with Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations and/or Health & Safety Codes. An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report, appeals rights, and notice of site visit was provided to Director.
