101216.3(a) Teacher-Child Ratio There shall be a ratio of one teacher visually observing and supervising no more than 12 children in attendance, except as specified in (b) and (c) below.This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on LPA observations the facility did not comply with the section cited above. From 12:15pm to 12:45pm LPA Castellanos observed 8 children with one staff member (S4), identified as a teacher assistant by Lead Teacher C. Hsu and staff member themselves. Then at 12:35pm LPA Castellanos enter the Big and Middle classrooms and observed 18 children of whom were awake with just one staff member S3. Around 12:45pm staff member S2 enter the classroom, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
