What the inspector wrote
On 8/42025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Suzette Ornelas conducted unannounced required annual inspection at the address mentioned above. Facility also has an Infant license (
197493273
) and a Preschool license (
197493270
). LPA met with Lead Teacher, Vanessa Rodriguez and discussed the purpose of the visit. The Lead Teacher guided LPA on a tour of the facility inside and out. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm.
LPA observed all required postings in a prominent area. LPA observed 0 children and 0 staff associated to the school age license. All children are under supervision, including visual supervision, of a teacher at all times. Capacity and limitations as specified on the license are being maintained.
A walk through of the classroom room space was conducted, the space was found to be clean and free from any potential hazards. Furniture was found to be in good repair and age appropriate. There is adequate heating, lighting and ventilation. Isolation area for sick students is in the Director\342\200\231s office. LPA observed adequate arrangements for isolation and care of ill children.
The bathroom and toileting areas were inspected, LPA observed toilets and sinks to accommodate the facility\342\200\231s capacity. Facility is equipped with 2 toilets and 2 sinks located towards the back left of the facility. Toilets flush properly, toilet and sinks are reachable by the children in care. The restrooms have adequate toilet paper and paper towels available. The bathrooms were found to be clean. There
is adequate lighting/ventilation in the bathroom area.
Playground equipment is in safe condition and free of hazards. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. Areas around high climbing equipment, swings and slides have cushioning material to absorb falls.
All kitchen, food preparation and storage areas are clean and safe. Per lead teacher, parents provide daily meals for children and school provides snacks. Solid waste storage containers have tight-fitting covers and are in good repair. Drinking water is readily available both indoors and outdoors via water dispensers located in every classroom. The facility is equipped with a working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector. LPA observed fire extinguishers (2A 10BC) located throughout the facility. There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises. First Aid Kit was observed to be complete. Fire Drill log was observed to be current. There are no firearms or ammunition allowed or stored on the premises. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible. No poisons were observed during the inspection.
LPA provided Lead Teacher a copy of the LIC126 Entrance Checklist, a copy of the fees that are due as of 8/4/2025 and a copy of the LIC9211 Request for Inactive Child Care License Status.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see

Facility Representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018,
requires all licensed Child Care Centers (CCCs) constructed before January 1, 2010, to test their water (used for
drinking and food preparation) for lead contamination before January 1, 2023, and then every 5-years after the date of the first test.
For child care center licenses issued after July 1, 2022, the licensee shall test their water for lead within 180 days of licensure pursuant to Written Directives section 101700 (PIN 21-21.1-CCP).
LPA verified that the lead testing was completed in accordance to the Written Directives outlined in
PIN 21-21.1-CCP

LPA observed lead testing redults posted on the parent board dated 10/17/2023. LPA reminded Lead teacher to ensure lead testing is conducted every 5 years.
Administrator was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, 0 deficiencies are being cited.
This report shall be made available to the public upon request. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Lead Teacher, Vanessa Rodriguez.
