What Happened
3-year required inspection of family child care home operating within capacity (7 children present, 18 enrolled). Several deficiencies noted: carbon monoxide detector non-functional, fire extinguisher not serviced within the year, licensee and staff missing mandated reporter certification and vaccinations against measles/pertussis/influenza. Strong odor in daycare room from carpet moisture issues requiring professional cleaning.
