On 8/13/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Loyce Phillips, conducted a case management inspection to follow up on COVID-19 Positive Cases. LPA met with Director, Sylvia Ruiz and Assistant Director, Diana Kim and toured the facility. LPA observed 4 classrooms open with a total of 53 children present with 10 staff. LPA is following up on COVID-19 Positive Cases Reported to CCLD: - 1 staff tested positive on 7/18/2024 (Purple room). - 1 child tested positive on 7/18/ 2024 (Yellow room). - 1 child tested positive on 7/21/2024 (Green room). - 1 child tested positive on 7/23/2024 ( Yellow room). - 1 child tested positive on 7/25/2024 (Orange room) - 1 staff tested positive on 7/25/2024 ( Orange room). - 1 child tested positive on 7/27/2024 (Orange room). - 1 child tested positive on 7/29/2024 (Orange room). The Health Department was contacted and a Public Health Nurse (MPH) was assigned to the facility. According to the MPH as of August 5, 2024, the facility did not have an outbreak and the exposure event was closed as of that day. - LPA spoke with Assistant Director and the following were discussed: - All the classrooms were deep cleaned. - Majority of the toys were cleaned and sanitized. - All staff and children have returned to the facility with no signs or symptoms or of COVID-19. - Overall health checks and screenings are conducted daily on children. No deficiencies are being cited in accordance to Title22 of the California Code of Regulations and/or Health & Safety Codes. An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report and notice of site visit were provided to Assistant Director, Diana Kim.
