What the inspector wrote

Therefore, the allegation that Licensee did not provide adequate transportation for the daycare children is deemed substantiated. A Substantiated finding means that the allegation is valid because the preponderance of the evidence standard has been met. Deficiency is cited in accordance with Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations and/or Health & Safety Codes. An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report, appeals rights and a notice of site visit were discussed and provided to Licensee, Shahina Nasir.

    102423(a)(2) Personal Rights (a) Each child receiving services from a family child care home shall have certain rights that shall not be waived or abridged... (2) To receive safe, healthful, and comfortable accommodations, furnishings, and equipment. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on S1 interview statement children are picked up 5 to 10 minutes late sometimes. S2 stated C1 was picked up at 2:30pm, instead of 2:00pm on 2/8/2024. C1 was not left unattended at school, but not picked-up at the agreed upon time which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care, if not corrected.
