What the inspector wrote

On 2/9/2026 Licensing Program Analyst(LPA) Judy Laureano conducted an unannounced case management inspection for the purpose of ensuring the standards are being met in accordance with California Tittle 22 Regulations and California Health and Safety Codes. LPA arrived at location and completed a walk-through of the facility. LPA observed 32 children with 6 staff members including director, D. Williams, providing care and supervision. Present during today’s inspection was administrative staff C. Nwani. LPA Laureano reviewed 3 staff files and observed 1 out of 3 files incomplete, proof of influenza/flu vaccine and/or waiver was not available for review. California Health and Safety Code 1596.7995 (a) (1) Commencing September 1, 2016, a person shall not be employed or volunteer at a day care center if he or she has not been immunized against influenza, pertussis, and measles. Each employee and volunteer shall receive an influenza vaccination between August 1 and December 1 of each year . LPA cited facility 1 Type B citation, please see LIC 809D for reference. Director agrees to ensure all employees and/or volunteers provide a copy of the influenza vaccination and/or influenza declination on an annual basis. An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report, Notice of Site Visit and Appeals Rights were provided to Licensee Danielle Williams.
