What the inspector wrote

On 03/12/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elicia Calvillo conducted an unannounced Case Management -Other visit. LPA arrived at 08:30 AM, identified self and met with Valerie-Ann Chuaquico and Marwin Serrano, Licensees. There were 7 children and 1 staff present upon arrival. The purpose of the visit was to ensure the personal rights and health and safety of children in care. The Licensees are applying for a Wild Fire waiver to add 2 additional children who were displaced as a result of the wild fires in their neighborhood. During the visit, LPA reviewed the number of children enrolled and confirmed there are no children under the age of 24 months currently enrolled and LPA obtain a copy of the facility child care roster. LPA confirmed the facility is Family Child Care Home and reviewed with the Licensees' the following California Code of Regulations sections 102417 Operation of a Family Child Care Home and 102416.5 Staffing Ratio and Capacity. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to comply with posting requirement will result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.00. Exit interview was conducted with Valerie-Ann Chuaquico and Marwin Serrano, Licensees, including, but not limited to Provider Rights, Appeal Procedures and Agencies Consultative Role.
