On 02/26/26 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ranita Richmond conducted an unannounced case management other inspection at Hayes Family Childcare. The purpose of the case management visit is to pick up/ obtain hard copies of submitted paperwork from licensee/applicant. Upon arrival, LPA met with applicant Roselyn Ramey and discussed the purpose of the visit. LPA toured the facility indoors and outdoors for health and safety. LPA observed no children in care being supervised by staff. During the walkthrough LPA was advised by applicant of the hours of operation and on limits/off limits areas of the home. The hours of operation were communicated to be Monday to Sunday, the family childcare home will take off from 3am-4am daily to close for lunch. During the lunch closure licensee will not provide care for children. Licensee is open for overnight and weekend care as needed. The on limits areas are as follows: living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom #1, gated back yard, and detached adu (additional recreation area). Licensee understands that children must eat, sleep, and toilet inside the main house. The off limits areas are as follows: bedrooms #1, #2, #3, bathroom #2, and detached garage. During the visit LPA collected from applicant copies of the following documents: Preventative Health and Safety certificate for Ernestine Hayes (3/16/25), Pediatric 1 st aid/cpr for Ernestine Hayes (3/26/25), certificate of completion for Mandated Reporter Training for Ernestine Hayes (12/06/25), and Residential Lease Agreement (05/01/25) for file. No citations cited, per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report along with the Notice of Site Visit were provided to applicant Roselyn Ramey.
