What the inspector wrote

On 7/11/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Judy Laureano and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Loyce Phillips conducted an unannounced case management inspection at the above-mentioned facility for the purpose of ensuring that standards are being met in accordance with California Tittle 22 Regulations and California Health and Safety Codes. LPA and LPM were greeted by Licensee, Cecelia Haggerstrom. LPA and LPM toured the home both indoors and outdoors and no children were observed in care. LPA Laureano was following up on an infectious disease outbreak report made by the Los Angeles Department of Public Health to the El Segundo Child Care Regional Office on 7/7/2025. The Los Angeles Department of Public Health became involved in investigating gastrointestinal illnesses with children at the facility. On 7/11/2025 Los Angeles Department of Health served facility a Health Officer Order (HOO) requiring Licensee to submit all available contact information for all day care attendees who were present at any time at the FCCH from May 31, 2025- July 11th, 2025 and reporting any new outbreaks at facility. Licensee confirmed that facility will close voluntarily as of 7/11/2025. A signed declaration (LIC855) was collected from Licensee. At this time further investigation is needed. LPA provided a copy of this report to Licensee Cecilia Haggerstrom with a Notice of Site Visit.
