Pre-licensing visit·March 1, 2022

On 3/1/2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jillinda Chandler made an announced visit to Motivating Minds University daycare center for the purpose of reviewing pre-licensing corrections from subsequent pre- licensing inspection conducted on 2/18/2022, LPA met with licensee Latiesha Austin \342\200\223 Licensee who provided a tour of the center. LPA observed the following corrections: All protruding water pipes in the outdoor activity space were made inaccessible to children. Repairs to broken bricks around the flower bed was made Un-leveled areas in the cushioning was made level to prevent tripping hazards Opening in the gates were repaired During the initial visit the applicant withdrew the school-age application and will now use the additional in-door space (located in the vault area) for preschool operations. The new measurements were: 3705.10 divided by 35 sq. ft. = 105 children Based on todays observation and approval of the outdoor activity space waiver the center shall be licensed the requested capacity of 100 children.
