What the inspector wrote

On 3/1/2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jillinda Chandler made an announced visit to Little Ones day-care center for the purpose of reviewing recommended corrections from a subsequent pre- licensing inspection conducted on 2/24/2022. LPA met with Cherelle Rivera -licensee and Sasha Sargent - Director. The following corrections were observed: On the preschool outdoor activity space cracks were filled-in, un-leveled areas were made inaccessible to children in care. Trash cans with tight fitting lids wide based stools to assist children when using the standard size sinks and toilets. The sign in and out station was moved near the parent board, making it visible to authorized representative and visitors. The floor board to the toddler room was repaired A portable heater was observed for the toddler room shading was observed in the toddler outdoor activity area Applicant shall provide proof of corrections for the following items that are on order LPA observed that in the second stall of the pre-school restroom the toilet tank's lid was not the appropriate lid for the take, applicant shall provide the correct lid for the toilet tank. Complete all required documentation and submit to the local regional office Applicant was advised to provide a temperature gauge for the freezer and refrigerator applicant shall replace bulbs in several of the light units in room #2 , per applicant the base for the lights will have to be replaced by an electrician. Adequate lighting is available using the working lighting systems. Based on todays inspection the facility shall be recommended for a capacity of 30 pre-school children determined by sinks and toilets and 8 in the toddler component determined by the indoor measurements.
