On 08/22/2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cristina Castellanos conducted an unannounced case management inspection for the purpose of ensuring the standards are being met in accordance with California Tittle 22 Regulations and California Health and Safety Codes. During today’s inspection there were nine (9) children and one (1) adult staff and Director Dana Davis providing care and supervision. Based on observation and record review, the facility did not comply with Sign In and Sign Out section 101229.1(a)(1) In addition to the sign-in procedure requirement of Section 101226.1(b), the licensee shall develop, maintain, and implement a written procedure to sign the child in/out of the child care center that shall, at a minimum, include the following: The person who signs the child in/out shall use his/her full legal signature and shall record the time of day. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, there is one (1) deficiency cited at this time for violation of Title 22 regulation; (see LIC809-D), as well as a Civil Penalty Assessment for Failure to Correct and Repeat Violation was given. An exit interview was conducted and Plans of Correction were reviewed and developed with Director Davis. A copy of this report and appeal rights were discussed and left with the Director. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100 .
