Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Licensee denied handling day care children in a rough manner and denied speaking inappropriately to day care children. LPA interviewed Assistant #1 who has been present in the home since April of 2024. Assistant #1 stated that at no time have they observed interactions between Licensee and children to support the allegation. LPA made attempts to interview Parent of child #1 and Parent of Child #2 identified in the details of the allegation. Details of incidences that may or may not have occurred July of 2023 and November of 2023 were provided. LPA was not able to obtain information to support the allegation. LPA conducted an observation of care and supervision of the children in care. LPA observed children being dropped off at the facility and observed children run with a smile to hug Licensee at drop off. LPA observed Licensee and Assistant interactions with children during play time and interactions while providing meals to children . At no time did LPA observe interactions between Licensee and children that supports the allegations above. During a subsequent visit, Parent of Child #3 stated that their child loves it here (facility) and they are very happy with care being provided. Based on the investigation conducted by LPA, it has been determined that although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are unsubstantiated. The Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. A copy of this report, appeal rights, and Notice of Site Visit was provided. Exit interview was conducted with Liliana Eleuteri, Licensee. ---Page 2 of 2
