What the inspector wrote

On 07/18/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Brittany Lovest and LPA Cristina Castellanos conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction Inspection at the above-mentioned address for the purpose of ensuring the standards are being met in accordance with California Title 22 Regulations and California Health and Safety Codes. Upon arrival LPAs met with Lead teacher/ Director- Erin Tamashiro and discussed the purpose of the visit. LPAs observed 13 infants care being supervised and by four staff members. LPA Lovest and LPA Castellanos previously conducted an unannounced Case management Deficiency visit on 05/21/2025, and Licensee was cited for the following deficiencies: 101427(j) Infant Care Food Service- LPA Lovest observed 10 bottles of milk did not have a date labeled on bottle, 2 of 10 bottles of milk observed did not have a name or a date labeled on milk bottles, 10 of 10 Infant personal Food containers were labeled with child\342\200\231s name and no date. 101438.1(b)Infant Care General Sanitation- LPA Lovest observed 4 infants diapers were changed by S5 and 1 infants' diaper changed by S3. S5 and S3 did not wash hands after changing infants' diapers. LPAs observed 4 infants fed by S1 and 2 infants fed by S8 and they did not wash hands prior to feeding children. 101439(h)(1) Infant Care Center Fixtures, Furniture, Equipment and Supplies - LPA Lovest observed 4 of 4 infants observed being changed on an infant changing table that is covered by a padded non vinyl surface. During today's visit LPA Lovest observed the following: LPA observed bottles and infant personal food containers labeled with name and date. LPA observed padded vinyl material changing table located in the infant\342\200\231s classroom. LPA observed teachers washing hands before feeding and after changing diapers. Based on observation the deficiencies given on 5/21/2025, The deficiencies have been corrected during today's inspection. An exit interview was conducted. A copy of this report, notice of site visit, deficiencies clearance letter was discussed and provided to Licensee, Charles Thakcer.
