Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 5/20/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), L. Phillips made an unannounced visit for the purpose of conducting a case management-legal inspection. LPA toured the visit and observed 87 children in care with 20 staff members. LPA met with the Director to ensure the facility has received the Exemption Denial notice and appeal for the exemption process for Jazmin Alvarez. LPA discussed the notice with Director. Director informed LPA that Jamin Alvarez was a substitute with Child Care Careers and started with Launch Pad Learning approximately in the month of December 2023 and ended her employment with the facility on or around January 2025. LPA did not observe the employee working or present at the facility. Director made a copy of the Exemption Denial notice. LPA reminded Director that all adults working in the facility must have a criminal record or exemption clearance on file to present at the facility. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report with Notice of Site Visit was provided to Director.
