What the inspector wrote

On Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 3:35p.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Isabel Ortega conducted a subsequent unannounced complaint inspection regarding, personal rights: Daycare child sustained an unexplained injury while in care, and Licensee did not provide adequate food service to day care child. LPA observed 10 children and two staff providing care and supervision. LPA observed meals and snacks served. During the course of this investigation, LPA conducted observations, confidential interviews with staff, children and parents and reviewed documentation related to the allegations. Interviews did not disclosures any unexplained injury while in care. LPA observed the menu visible to parents, LPA observed children freely consuming, lunch, and snack. Also, LPA observed staff attending to children and encouraging children to taste, and consume food served as family style. Agency has investigated the complaint. At this time, it is determined that although the allegation may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the above allegations are Unsubstantiated. No deficiency cited at this time. Copy of this report, Notice of site visit, and appeal rights given to Licensee during this inspection.
