What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst 's (LPA) Maddox and Villa met with Celia Cassio, Early Learning Supervisor and Rosa Ayala, Director, today for the purpose of conducting a Case Management inspection. Center is requesting to relocate the Infant Component from the East Side of the campus to the Westside of the campus. LPA's verified the Director, Rosa Ayala has current CPR/First Aid (exp 12/16/2024? and current Mandated Reporter training (exp 8/10/2024). The days and hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. During this inspection, LPA's measured 4 classrooms (Rooms 1 - 4). CCRC is renting the 4 classrooms from Living Praise Church. Measurements were as follows: Room #1 totaled 937 sq ft - Cribs/ 26 Room #2 totaled 1013 sq ft/29 Room #3 totaled 924 sq ft/27 Room #4 Totaled 924 sq ft/27 Total indoor space 109 There are 2 in-ground swimming pools on the East side of the campus in front of classrooms #1 and #2 with regulated 5 ft. fencing, which includes a spring closure on the gate. The outdoor area measurements were 6649 + 4730 = 11,379 feet which can accommodate capacity of 151 children. There are 2 bathrooms; located between Room #1 &2 and between Room #3 & 4. The bathroom between Rooms #1 & 2 has 2 toilets/2 sinks/and a changing table. 30 The bathroom between Rooms #3 &4 has 4 toilets/ 4 sinks/ and a changing table. 60 Total space with bathrooms will be 90 LPA's also observed each classroom has fully stocked first aid kits. operable carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, and age appropriate toys and materials. Parent boards contained required forms, staff are aware of the new Safe Sleep Regulations. The play yard designated for Infants/Toddlers needs the following: The rubber matting underneath the play equipment is deteriorated on the edges which could result in potential fall or injuries. LPAs also observed two tree trunks on the west end of the playground which has left sizable holes in the asphalt. Licensee stated they have received estimates for cost of repair and is in the process of replacing the rubber matting, removing the tree trunks, and filling cracks in walkways. Staff will need a waiver to allow the Infants/Toddlers use the play yards located on the PS side until the play yard designated for Infants/Toddlers is completed. Fire clearance has been received for the requested capacity of 52 (26 infants and 26 Toddlers). LPA's also observed emergency evacuation cribs as required by the fire department. Exit interview was conducted, copy of reports left at facility with Celia Cassio, Early Learning Supervisor .
