The infant play yard is located adjacent to the toddler play yard. The infant play yard is fully enclosed by a brown plastic fencing that surrounds the entire perimeter. LPAs and LPM observed various age-appropriate equipment, including a covered sandbox, chairs, outdoor dome seats, two small swings, and additional play equipment. Rubber cushioning material covers the entire play area for safety. A large tree provides shade to the area. The Director stated that infants will use their personal water bottles to stay hydrated. On one side of the play yard, there is a shaded canopy, while the other side has umbrellas to provide additional shade for outdoor activities. The yard also includes a water table and a sand table.
