Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 1/28/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Isabel Ortega conducted an unannounced subsequent complaint inspection to deliver findings on the above allegation. LPA met with Site Director and toured the facility. Upon arrival LPA observed 59 children and 9 staff providing care and supervision. During the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews with children, Staff and parents. LPA completed observations and gathered documents relevant to the complaint allegation. Based on evidence obtained and interviews conducted, the allegation Staff did not provide adequate supervision to day care child is Unsubstantiated. Based on the disclosures at the time of incident, LPA's observation, confidential interviews conducted by LPA, staff were present during incidents and the milestone report indicates balance concerns and a student plan is in place which include shadowing and gross motor activities. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged allegation occurred. No deficiency was cited for this investigation. An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report, appeal rights and a notice of site visit were provided to facility.
