There is also a licensed PS ( 197750149) and SA( 197750151 ) component on the same premises, waiver on file to share the play yard. During this inspection, LPA measured Classroom #1 which is designated for Infants, there's a second classroom (rm# 2) that has 2 cribs and cots for napping, per Section 101438.3 (c) Indoor Activity Space for Infants : The calculation of indoor activity space for infants shall not include space designated and used for cribs. In addition, (b)(2) states Moveable walls or partitions, if used, shall be at least four feet high; shall be constructed of sound-absorbing material; and shall be designed to minimize the risk of injury to infants. Classroom #2 does not meet the requirements of Section (b)(2) above, therefore, the measurement will not be included in the total sq ft of indoor space. Classroom #1 measured 272 sq ft which is not enough space to accommodate Director's requested capacity of 12 Infants, measurements taken today can accommodate a total of 8 Infants. Fire clearance has been received for the requested capacity increase, however, measurements can only accommodate 8 Infants.
