Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Maddox and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Deborah Lowe met with Director, Vonda Perry today for the purpose of conducting a case management (CM) inspection . Director states she has additional space available outdoors and requesting the play yard be re-evaluated for consideration of a capacity increase. Together we toured, inspected equipment, and took measurements of the yard. A waiver is needed to allow the School-age children share the outdoor space with Pre-school children with alternating schedules. There is a climber/slide apparatus observed with an age appropriate sticker for children ages 3 - 10 yrs old. Director will provide a plan to ensure children over the age 10 will not use this equipment. The School age component does not have its own designated outdoor play yard, Director will request a waiver to allow School-age children to share the preschool play yard when no in use by preschool children. The Preschool yard measured 1808 which can accommodate a capacity of 24 children. An exit interview was conducted with the above items discussed, copy of appeal rights and this report was provided to the Director. Final license determination will be made upon the review by the Licensing Program Manger and the approval of the waiver request.
