Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

LPA Maddox met with Applicant, Luis Ledesma today for the purpose of re-measuring the outdoor space. Previously, the entire yard was measured at 2305, however, regulations state there must be a physical separation for each group of children [ 101238.2(a); 101438.2(b); 101538.2(b)]. During the previous inspection conducted on 4/16/2025, there was no physical separation, no shade, and a lack of age appropriate toys and play equipment. During this inspection, LPA verified the aforementioned items are now present. The following measurements were taken with the physical separations: Infant/Toddler Yard: 432/75 = 6 Preschool/School age Yard : 1,482/75 = 19 During the initial pre licensing inspection, the indoor measurements were: Infant Room : 685/35 = 19; Toddler: 1052/35 = 30; Preschool: 525/35 = 16; and School-age : 695/35 = 19. Applicant will revise his waiver request and outdoor play schedules to reflect the results of measurements taken today. Applicants are requesting to have all components share the entire play yard with alternating schedules, they state they plan on swapping out age appropriate play equipment for each component daily. Applicant will discuss this update with LPM Lowe. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was provided to the Applicant, Luis Ledesma. Final license determination will be at the discretion and review by the Licensing Program Manager.
