Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) R. Derraco conducted a case management visit on 08/30/22 at 1:00PM. LPA met with licensee who guided analyst on tour of the facility. Also present during the inspection were A2 and A3. LPA observed two children in care. Per licensee, the two children in care are her grand children. The purpose of this visit is to observed corrections to citations cited on 07/18/22. LPA observed the outdoor play area to be clean and free of defects. Outdoor heating lamp was observed in the off-limits area of the backyard making it inaccessible. Locks were observed beneath the bathroom sink. Per licensee, her current children in care (grandchildren) are still in diapers and rarely use the bathroom. LPA observed the Emergency Disaster Plan LIC 610A to be posted in the main care area. Infant walkers, johnny jumpers or saucer chairs were not observed in the family child care home. Plan of correction letters were provided to licensee during visit. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Sylvia Abercrombie
