What the inspector wrote
On Friday, December 27, 2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Staicy Perry and Joanne Solorio Campos conducted an unannounced required 3 year inspection and met Director Pam who guided LPAs Perry and Joanne Solorio Campos on a tour of the facility. Census was taken and LPAs observed 21 children with 2 staff.
The school-age component is located in Classroom E on the same site as both the preschool #191597334 and infant #191501406 components. The school-age program serves first grade and above and shares the outdoor play space with the preschool program, in which there is an approved waiver on file. The program operates Monday to Friday 6:30 a.m. \342\200\223 6:00 p.m during school off session and 6:30am-8:00am and 1:30pm-6:00pm during school session. Transportation Is provided by facility. Sign in and out takes place at the main entrance area. Parents sign in through a computer and manually in an assigned classroom binder. Each family is assigned a code to enter the building. All visitors and/or volunteers must ring the doorbell. Teacher and child ratio were observed, and present staff are fingerprinted cleared and at least one person present who is trained in pediatric first aid/CPR is present.
LPAs entered the school age classroom (E). LPAs observed age-appropriate furniture and equipment to be in good condition. LPAs observed trash bins with lids. LPAs observed toys and equipment to be free of sharp, not loose, or pointed parts. LPA\342\200\231s observed children\342\200\231s personal items to be in individual bins.
Heating, lighting, and ventilation were evaluated by LPAs Perry and Campos. LPAs observed central AC /heater and vents located on the ceiling. LPAs observed the thermostat located in classroom and the temperature to be at 68. LPAs observed the fire extinguishers located in classrooms and hallways and the valve on the required 2A10BC fire extinguishers indicating fully charged and serviced on 04/2024

Smoke detectors were tested during this visit. The carbon monoxide detector is in the main entrance in the kitchen and LPAs tested and heard the sound and is operable. The last emergency drill was conducted on 12/10/24.
First aid kits supplies are kept inside the classrooms and LPA observed the kits to be fully equipped with band aids, gauzes, adhesive bandages, and antiseptic wipes. During this visit, director stated there are no children with allergies or medication. LPAs asked if there were any poisons, firearms, weapons, or bodies of water. The director stated no firearms, weapons, no poisons nor bodies of water. LPAs did not observe firearms or weapons, poisons, nor bodies of water. Director stated the ill isolation area takes place in the director\342\200\231s office and children utilize the staff restroom. Lead testing was conducted on 8/31/2022 and had no lead exceedance.
This program provides a.m. snack, lunch, and p.m. snack. During school session P.M. snack is provided. Meals and snacks are prepared onsite. LPA\342\200\231s informed director Pam that any food brought from the children's homes, the container shall be labeled with the child's name and properly stored or refrigerated. For water drinking, LPAs observed water pitchers, bottles, and cups in the classroom. LPAs observed the food preparation area to be free of litter, rubbish, rodents, and/or any other vermin and storage containers for solid waste, including movable bins with tight-fitting covers that are kept on, and in good repair. The facility was observed to be free of flies, other insects, and rodents. Per previous annual inspection on infant license and preschool license, kitchen will be going under construction to replace and repair.
The following documents were posted in a prominent, publicly area front lobby: Facility License, Notification of Parents' Rights (PUB 393), Personal Rights (LIC 613A), Menu, and PUB 269 Child Passenger System Poster. LPAs reviewed children\342\200\231s files and all files were observed to be complete. LPAs reviewed the children\342\200\231s roster to be complete. Staff files were observed to be complete,
LPAs observed director Pam Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification from American Heart Association dated 9/27/2025, Preventative Health and Safety with nutrition on file and has proof of immunization against Pertussis, MMR and Influenza declination. CCLD orientation was completed on 2/2000

LPAs did advise director Pam to take the CCLD orientation course for updated information. Director has completed the mandated reporter (AB 1207) training dated 5/31/24 Director was advised that the mandated reporter training must be completed every 2 years, and is available at

Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018, requires all licensed Child Care Centers (CCCs) constructed before January 1, 2010, to test their water (used for drinking and food preparation) for lead contamination before January 1, 2023, and then every 5-years after the date of the first test.
For child care center licenses issued after July 1, 2022, the licensee shall test their water for lead within 180 days of licensure pursuant to Written Directives section 101700 (PIN 21-21.1CCP).
LPA verified that the lead testing was completed in accordance to the Written Directives outlined in PIN 21-21.1-CCP.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services \342\200\223 IMS. LPAs reviewed storage of \342\200\234medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children\342\200\231s, personnel, and administrative records. Files were complete.

Currently the facility is in compliance with Title 22 Regulations and no citations will be issued.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a $100.00 civil penalty.
