Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Dayna Chambers conducted an unannounced investigation to above facility on 09/24/2024 at 9:00 AM, for the purpose of delivering findings for the above allegation. LPA toured facility with Licensee, Ramona Viramontes, there were 3 children present during this visit. The complaint was investigated by Community care Licensing Investigation Branch (IB) investigator, J. Santana. IB investigator obtained information through forensic interviews and law enforcement. Interviews conducted were inconsistent with the allegation and although there were reports of many opportunities for children to be alone due to staff not always monitoring closely, interviews revealed different accounts of what took place. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. Exit interview was conducted with Licensee, Ramona Viramontes and a copy of the report was provided.
