What the inspector wrote

At approximately 1:15pm Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mary Silva conducted an unannounced case management inspection to ensure the facility was in compliance with Title 22 regulations. At the time of arrival licensing staff met with assistant director Jessica Murphy. The purpose of the inspection was explained. Census was taken. LPA observed 46 children with 6 staff. The department was made aware of an incident that occurred at the facility on 12/11/2024. Per incident report child #1 placed a corn kernel in the right ear. During the inspection LPA conducted interviews with assist director. LPA obtained documentation in the form of facility roster, and internal incident report given to guardian. LPA reviewed file for child #1. Based on the information that was verified during the inspection and the information on the incident report, Licensing staff did not observe any type of deficiencies that warranted a citation at this time. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Appeal Rights were given. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the assistant director Jessica Murphy.
